Lighting exercise in oil paint

Done during traditional painting class, two years ago; that class was also my first foray in oil paint. I was challenged to paint those objects depicted while a coloured light is turned on. Painting this drove me nuts until I said, "Screw it. Let's just paint this with my glasses off."
